Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how Instagram users, business account owners, and client workspace users can request deletion of data processed by LeadPaw.
How to Request Deletion
Email ia.karnauhov@gmail.com with the subject line LeadPaw Data Deletion Request.
Include enough information for us to locate the data:
- Your Instagram username or Instagram account ID, if known.
- The connected business Instagram account or business workspace, if known.
- The approximate date of the comment, Direct message, or campaign interaction.
- The campaign, keyword, media/post, or destination link involved, if known.
- A short description of the data you want deleted.
- Your relationship to the data, such as Instagram commenter, business account owner, or client workspace user.
Disconnecting LeadPaw
If you connected an Instagram professional account, you may also remove LeadPaw from your Instagram or Meta connected apps and websites settings. Disconnecting may stop future data access and automation, but it does not automatically delete all records previously processed by LeadPaw. Please email us if you also want stored data deleted.
What We Delete or Anonymize
Depending on the verified request and available records, we may delete or anonymize:
- Connected account records and OAuth token records.
- Stored Instagram IDs, usernames, media IDs, comment IDs, comment text, and timestamps.
- Campaign match records, lead records, delivery attempts, and message audit events.
- Client invite and login records associated with the requester.
- Related operational logs where practical and technically feasible.
Verification and Timing
We may ask for additional information to verify that the requester is authorized to delete the relevant data. We aim to respond to verified deletion requests within 30 days. During deletion may be handled manually.
Limits
Some information may be retained for a limited time where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, backup integrity, dispute handling, or to document that a deletion request was completed. Where possible, retained records will be minimized or anonymized.
